To successfully fulfill their roles in the firm, the candidates need to possess the following qualities:
Associates:
1. Graduates of the law schools of prestigious Chinese or overseas universities. Candidates with more than one master degree or with a Jurum Doctor degree are preferred.
2. At least two years work experience in foreign related legal services. Experience with leading international law firms is an advantage.
3. Licensed to practice in China or other countries. CPA or patent agent qualification is a plus.
4. Able to communicate efficiently, compose and translate legal documents in at least one foreign languages (TEM Band 8 or JPT Band 1 or above).
5. Familiar with formal legal writing styles in both Chinese and English and able to draft legal documents independently.
6. Excellent communication skills and presentation techniques.
7. Outstanding time management and prioritizing skills.
8. Self-motivated, professional, strong team spirit, physically fit and able to work under substantial pressure.
Paralegals:
